Priority of choice

First you need to choose a teacher and mentor,
and then what to study,
if you even have to make that choice.

So the sages once said. And nothing has changed over time.

When choosing your studies, first parents choose a school and teachers, a tutor. Then you find out about an amazing teacher, for example, dance. And you go to take lessons with her/him.

Ideally, you should familiarize yourself with the teaching staff of the faculty of the university you will attend. Whether it’s acting or rocket technology.

Share in the comments what fierce teachers you or your parents encountered? I got a three for сопромат (strength of materials) because “they didn’t see me” at the May Day demonstration, for example. Although the grade shouldn’t have been given, there was either a pass or fail. But since the grade was in the transcript, it went into the diploma. Another three was given because fives and fours “ran out,” although I knew the subject perfectly well and worked with that teacher on the same faculty.

When it comes to work, the principle remains the same. Although it is called something else “idiot boss, didn’t get along and etc.” You subconsciously perceive the boss and his boss as a person who can or cannot teach you something. When your roles become almost equal, a competent leader will see in you a replacement for themselves and preserve such a resource. But more often it happens that you are exposed as a competitor demanding a high fee for your experience.
